Hi Everyone,

We Did It!

I've been waiting to send this post out as I'm sure everyone is feeling as exhausted with all the chaos online - and I didn't want to add to the noise.

But, I also don't want to miss out on an opportunity to celebrate!

Thanks to everyone for backing the campaign - and spreading the word!

It's truly a team effort as the 40 authors involved in this project have really been great about pushing this out there to make sure it gets in front of as many eyes as possible.

Stretch Goals

The campaign has been running so hot, I didn't have chance to share these before blowing past the original stretch goal benchmarks.

Rather than adding a whole bunch of random items to your package, I figure the best way to make the goals worth it is to add more stories to the book!

If we surpass these goals, I’ll add even more!

The Truth of Self-Publishing

For the comic book readers among us, Kickstarter is well-trodden land but for the publishing side, it’s a very exciting time. It feels like a new frontier, not unlike the early days of KDP, and I’m happy that you’ve come along for the ride.

The truth of self-publishing is that you have two financial goals:

  • The minimum you can make and still release a product (which is how I set the Kickstarter goal).
  • The amount you need to break-even.

If we continue this pace, we should reach that second goal and beyond

Thanks again for making that a possibility.

Thought Bubble This Weekend

If you find yourself around Harrogate, UK, this weekend, I’ll be tabling at Thought Bubble. Come on by to say hi!

Let me know you backed the campaign (or subscribed to my Substack) and I’ll have a special gift for you!

I'll follow up with you again next week with more, once I've settled in from the fun weekend across the pond.

Thanks again,

Adriano Ariganello
